Welcome From the Principal

To our wonderful Cole Families and Visitors,

There are exciting things going on at Cole Elementary School and we are glad you are wanting to be a part of it.  Our students are making academic gains as acknowledged by assessments last school year.  We are learning together about our emotions and actions and becoming more restorative with one another out of respect and trust.  Cole Elementary is a great school because of the students, families, and staff that we serve.  We will continue to look forward to ways to SHINE as we work through challenges together. 

Our school's mission statement sums up my goals for our students, families and staff:

My vision as your leader is to Let Your Light Shine through Academic Press and Culture and Climate.  At Cole Elementary, we will build and foster a culture of shared leadership.  We will actively engage our families in their child's education.  We will promote a culture of belonging.  We will also set high expectations for all students, families and staff through supporting, developing and managing people by communicating and inspiring a shared vision.  At Cole Elementary, we will strive to monitor and adjust the school program to always meet the needs of the school and community.  We welcome you to join us this school year as we strive to become one of the best Elementary Schools in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
